EVALUATION:

1. Four Examinations

2. Each exam is a unit exam, independent of the previous exam.

3. The last examination will not be a comprehensive exam.

4. The final grade percentage will be determined by totaling the number of points earned relative to the number of points possible. This percentage will constitute 85% of the final grade.

5. Additional assignments will be given. The value of each assignment will vary. Collectively these values will constitute 15% of the final grade.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

For MWF classes, I will deduct one percentage point from your final grade percentage for every unexcused absence.

* I will add three (3) percentage points to the final grade percentage for those that finish the course with no absences.

* Attendance is expected in a professional course. A professional course should encompass more than acquisition of subject matter. There is much to be learned through listening and sharing with the instructor and classmates. Healthy interaction allows one to explore the notion that others may have something to contribute to ones education.

PROMPT ATTENDANCE IS A CHARACTERISTIC OF A PROFESSIONAL OR ONE THAT IS ASPIRING TO BE A PROFESSIONAL.
